Self-destruction

Happiness comes in different disguises,
Fifteen minutes is all I need.
I can buy elation later.
The rush of pleasure,
Makes me feel like I’m unstoppable.
The drip from hell,
Tastes so sweet.
Numb and awake
I am satisfied,
But only for fifteen minutes.
This delirium shall pass.
Another line of ease shouldn’t hurt.
Paralyzed, inside and out.
I am pleased for another fifteen minutes.
My eyes are as dark as the night sky,
My thoughts are suppressed in silence.
My happiness disappears,
as soon as my wallet forms cobwebs inside.

I just started writing poetry and really enjoy it. What do you think? This is my first.
