Plastic bread

I looked at it and it had no smell
a poor excuse for what bakers sell
but plasic bread just floppy white
just a squigy bag  with the stuff of life
for religous text "we should share its wealth"
but its difficult to break, just rubbery pap
or transform to gold in the toasters slot
and slodiers march  with a boiled egg
Lord sandwich invented it for a royal treat
or fry it till its crispy crusty brown
crutons on the salad and the soup
a satisfying crunch to feel the crumbs all split
the grain the mill the yeast and pummel till
the rise and bake the daily processed device
slavered with  butter and some strawberry jam
 SuperamundaneStandOut slice is" NICE"
