Sunrise Mist
The sunlight falls like a mist
An ancient waterfall among trees
A chilly morning with a hint of sun
An early dawn horizon.
The garden stands still
Winter
The leaves have vanished
Leaving branches empty
Skeletal reminders of a distant summer
