Busted ribs and a battered heart
beaten from the inside
my cruel abuse
of a once radiant soul
is an exhaustive chore
Consider this my resignation.
I put my self at odds with my nature
sullied my kindness
insulted my gentle
bullied my sensitive
tormented my tender
I got trapped in the loop
of a severely Off Broadway tragedy
and I'm taking my final bow
Consider this my resignation.
