Screaming within

Thoughts of you
sitting there
suffering,
screaming within for the pain to stop
never seem to leave my mind..
Visions of you
confined to continuous cycles
of agonizing affliction deeply affects
my mental state..
Makes my heart ache
to think from the moment you wake
till the moment you finally fall asleep
the pain will not cease..
All I can do is pray..
Please let his suffering go away
why must it stay?

I feel broken as I know he feels
though I don't know what real pain is
and that's all he knows..
I wish I could heal him
Wish I could steal away
the never-ending feeling of
fear and frustration leading to
complete psychological deterioration..

for this nightmare to end..
