The word μαβί is real, even if rarely used. In Greek, it means "Purplish". The poet, also real, as was the poem he wrote containing the word. Lived in Alexandria 1873-1933.

this makes me smile. i collect words in my journal and i do like hunting for that perfect word to encapsulate the one fleeting moment/vision that brushed over you with an imprint.
