Escaped death part 4

I thought I found the cure
The answer that me and my family been looking for
Symptoms match in almost every way
The path of the future is cloudy and grey

This condition came out of no where
At a time I was least aware
Yet I still see a potential link to family history
Trying to solve this on going mystery

As emotions run heavy like my tears
There still is no answer to my fears
Taking time to research and learn is worth it
I will do anything to slow or reverse it

Hopefully there is a treatment of medication
6 feet under , a unwanted destination
I wonder how much it could cost?
I need it anyway before life is lost

Certain things I can no longer drink or eat
To avoid a sequence that might repeat
This is nothing that is viewed as small
As solving the problem is a feat that may be tall

The blood test came back
As a theory is proved wrong, something else is on attack
I was going on a hunch and found a surprise
The results where mostly fine, a finding that is hard to realize
