Re. Exodus
Well, I especially like the (br) as it says so much about those frogs. Like, they are British, like, they must have a French background as well AND an unfortunate future, namely none, taking lurking storks into consideration. This is a dense-informational and multi-layered haiku which I really enjoyed! Thanks, apple ...

Those frogs have some French background, indeed, dating back to William the Conqueror, Duke of Normandy. ;-)
But first and foremost, they leave behind their francophone pondmates.

Nice haiku. It's a shame the brexit frogs have forgotten the year 1624 when John Donne wrote the poem "No man is an island" ( https://allpoetry.com/No-man-is-an-island ). How he knew about Brexit almost 400 years ago, I've no idea - but then again, poets have a reputation of being interesting people with strange mystical powers of insight :))

Although I had already heard about the title, the poem itself was previously unknown to me - quite far-sighted.
Thanks for the hint and for the comment.
