Love in fall
If we were two leaves,
Orange in color,
Fallen and intertwined,
Would we let love be the wind,
That drags us across this road we call life,
My dear do you not feel this love,
Coursing through my veins?
You are my one and only soul,
Your smile,
Lights up the darkest of days,
I could write and write,
Of how lovely,
Yet no words that I speak,
Could possibly amount to you,
In you I see beauty
My eyes have never seen such perfection,
My lips never tasted such a poison as your kiss,
As it vanishes all my thoughts and lifts me to heaven.
My ears never heard a sweeter voice,
You baffle me completely,
Words those fragile lips speak,
Send my heart to universes unseen,
The way you hold me against you,
Sends me to my grave,
Without, my heart aches for you
