Sylvan’s Renewal
The tree is bare
Her leaves gone
by wind shear;
She lingers on
Strong sylvan pride
facing icy zephyrs’ chill
Her leaves departing
now branches lay
ever still
Summer Sun no
longer lingers
warmth the way He
did during windless
days of basking
beneath Her shade
Her roots now Her
only sustenance
combatting frigid
breezes;
awaiting Gaia to send
a renewal of
summery and
comfortable
indolency
though winter’s winds
persist
Spring WILL come again ----
a godsend conjuring
Nature to connect
with the seasons
universally in a
synchronicity of
loving renewal.
