Sacred Cow
Of course, like all, I wish to heal
My mind, from all the wounds
Imparted by the world’s raw deal
But remedies elude
Since the apple, suffering
pervades our universe
We humans keep on bustling
In spite of Heaven’s Curse!
The “Fix” was offered long ago,
For all, not just those “In”
It’s not what, but who you know
Eternity’s linchpin
Even though I know it’s true
(Although, I don’t know how)
My debt continues to accrue
It’s my sacred cow
