Do you see me? ( The gift)
Give your heart to me...
Open it...please.
Let me share your burden
When it is heavy.
Let the levy break and I will swim with you.
In the flood we will hold each others breath.
And with our tears we will solace one another..
We could find rest,
We could be blessed.
Your eyes hide much from me,
A skill I feel you've learned recently.
And as I try to see your soul,
My mind yearns.
To see through your blue eyes...
They pierce in the night.
A shield of fear and hard glass...
You wear it well.
But your armor forever glistens to me,
Forever it will allure.
As will the thought of your touch,
I am sure
I must know where this will go.
Do you see me back?
Open it...please.
Let me share your burden
When it is heavy.
Let the levy break and I will swim with you.
In the flood we will hold each others breath.
And with our tears we will solace one another..
We could find rest,
We could be blessed.
Your eyes hide much from me,
A skill I feel you've learned recently.
And as I try to see your soul,
My mind yearns.
To see through your blue eyes...
They pierce in the night.
A shield of fear and hard glass...
You wear it well.
But your armor forever glistens to me,
Forever it will allure.
As will the thought of your touch,
I am sure
I must know where this will go.
Do you see me back?
