A Plea for Insanity
I wish to be insane.
For I know it well.
A silent predator that resides in my mind.
Deterioration of what was once alive and free of torture.
Instead a mask takes its place .
Covered in silence, shrouded in fog.
If truth be told, my mind would certainly scream for a voice to the silence.
And the silence remains.
Oh, How I wish to be insane.
For I know it well.
The silence watches, amused at what lay here,
Staring back at the silence.
A vast abyss had taken the place of my soul.
My heart dare not to approach.
For it may cease to beat.
So I wait with silence.
Oh, How I wish to be insane.
For I know it well.
