Cigerattes

I understand now,
It halters converging thoughts
As these Brain cells decay,
Sometimes I too just like to fade away
I get it, ever since daddy left
I always seemed to miss him less
But now we have a lotta debt
That debt being this pain,
I see it when I look into the portals of your eyes
I resemble him alotta so when you look at me you cry, sometimes,
I'll try to be a better man I promise
Trying to chase these checks to settle all the homage

I need a cigarette...

Author's Note
Homage is an expression of great honor.
One would usually pay homage to their God/s.

In this sense by homage I'm referring to the misplaced lingering praise, reason why it's praise is because the person I've referred to still resides in my loved ones memories, there's still a strong attachment to that person as one would be attached to their God.

The pain that's felt when I'm looked at isn't always there, I feel at time is more suppressed, ignored or 30% not there
