Burning Ice
Have you ever tried to embrace
Something that got you amazed?
Trying to catch it for yourself
Ending up losing it all again?
Try to touch something,
that s not yours
but you want it.
You can feel how it
freezes you on,
but fires all above.
So now that you know,
drag deep down your soul
you see how can one pull and throw,
Keeping the beauty in cold.
You felt this is going to end
Still you wanted to begin
Thinking about the melting fire,
Realizing it s all just water.
Slipping right through your hand
Never flowing to yourself.
The time slowly went by
You still having the fire
The ice contains it all
But you have nobody to melt for.
Something that got you amazed?
Trying to catch it for yourself
Ending up losing it all again?
Try to touch something,
that s not yours
but you want it.
You can feel how it
freezes you on,
but fires all above.
So now that you know,
drag deep down your soul
you see how can one pull and throw,
Keeping the beauty in cold.
You felt this is going to end
Still you wanted to begin
Thinking about the melting fire,
Realizing it s all just water.
Slipping right through your hand
Never flowing to yourself.
The time slowly went by
You still having the fire
The ice contains it all
But you have nobody to melt for.
