Beautiful Ways
they say I’m a fool
and some days I believe it
was looking for a muse
you took my hand and lead me
showed me how to be a man
in such an unforgiving world
that’s why
whenever you’re not here
I put my headphones on
lay my head down
then drift into
a dream of you
(woe, woe)
what can I say
I’m in love with your beautiful ways
the skies can’t hold our passion
it’s something that can’t be wrote in a book
when our lips touch
I become your protector
fighting for our kingdom
if you should ever leave
well, that would be the end of me
told you I would just live in the moment
been going strong for 16 years
we just might be
the first two that live
to see infinity
(woe, woe)
what can I say

I’m very blessed to have a wonderful partner. A lot of my poems are fiction based, but my love poems are about my partner and I.

I have many for sure lol. She actually doesn't even know of my poetry. She knew I wrote poems but I don't think she realizes I still do. Guess I feel like I can ink my feelings better when no one I know is reading lol.

Oh she would LOVE them!!! My hubby doesn't get my stuff. He used to get jelly so I read something he inspired & with the wtf look gave up & supports it. Lol😅
