IT'S NOT ALL BLACK & WHITE
It was an eerie crackling night
within the smoke-filled candle-lit den. . .
all of us there in sight let it all hang-out
All of us, all of us ---- friends.
Away from it all, well hidden,
within the hollow of a mountainside;
We danced with Spirits: wet and unseen.
We laughed; we chanted;
we played; we screamed!
The heat of the night and our wanton lust,
caused us to shed out clothing;
( O, if THEY could see us now,
we'd be the eye [ire] of their loathing!)
Once a month we gather
here to play
An ageless bunch: full of ideas and passions,
different backgrounds, different careers,
and many different styles and fashions.
We always came in wanderlust,
and always, always in Secrecy!
To keep at bay
their torment and fuss;
To distant ourselves from their tyranny.
THEY are those who label and who
live in normalcy.
They rarely question what's always been
or what will always be.
Sort of like the moral majority - always,
always labeling what's wrong, what's right.
So What!
