AUTUMN'S FALL

I saw upon the fall of Fall
the death of Autumn''s last recall
The splinter of Winter came to call
and wash away it all

The song of Autumn upon sweet cool winds
brought on a breeze of changing whims
as Winter now rules through bleak months and weeks
and Autumn no longer speaks

The rhyme of her beauty sings on in my head
as time severs the strings of her thread
Nothing, no longer said
Autumn is dead
