No one ever really goes away

I heard you crying under the big bright moon
reduced to tears oh far too soon
said she felt just like a loon
as the tears filled up her eyes
'twas an unpleasant surprise
that shook her to her core
and cryed out "please lord no more".

I held her hand till we were inside.
Still confused, I remember well
said she felt like she was in hell.
Visions of strange scenes.
This was not forseen
it hit her like a tidal wave,
can't be another suicidal grave.

The midnight moon marooned in the sky
I looked straight up and wondered why
I peer for a moment, then I hear her say "hi"
as she was floating away
couldn't speak though I tried to say,
"No no please don't leave!!"
And like the wind she is free.

He toppled over, face in the dirt.
He blacked out, it didn't even hurt.
he awoke feeling not so alert,
pushed his confusion to the side.
Knew he couldn't run or hide
but wished that she would've stayed,
wished that time could be replayed.

He sees the passing of the years,
watches as he loses his fears
although he's still wiping tears
when memories come through
I wonder where she went to.
Will we someday meet?
As I feel a tingle with the earth beneath my feet.

Now he sees it plain as day,
no one ever really goes away
as one we're all here to stay
so don't forget when you're on your own
you never have to feel alone
cause she is always there
So lets breathe in all the air.
