stars of light and darkness
I took flight on wings of fire
and never looked back
the wind howls its song
higher and higher now
until I fade into the black

and I would never return
fingertips coated in ice
to freeze the blood flowing
from my soul
to freeze the pouring of memories-

Wretched little liar
bastard of some unholy union
a bitch, filthy whore born
branded and thrown into fire
fighting and thrashing at the chains

yet I rose from my pyre
and you trembled in my wake

stars of wind and quiet
gazing down into fields of white
stalking prey on wings of vengeance
hatred in my heart

And where was your love?
You told me to never trust my eyes
yet you tricked me
and seduced me with your lies
was it worth the count of bodies
I laid to waste upon your throne?

I will fashion my crown
from your bones
