broken and beeten
whats left of my heart is broken.
its been draged through the mud.
i gave you what i could.
i know that it wasnt alot.
but i thought it was in good hands.
i was wrong again.
im sorry i trusted you.
you left me broken and used.
you left me in the cold and the dark.
i feal betrayed.
you said you loved me.
but it was a lie.
when you see my arms dont looked shocked.
you knew it would happen.
when you see my face dont look suprized.
but if i see a smile i know i was right.
if i dont come back im sorry.

Down the road and not across the tracks. We do get solace from our self inflicted cutting. One pain to relieve another. However time can only mend, but that's the pot calling the kettle black. Cover your heart, never let them see it exposed. We our the keepers of that treasure. It's not their prize. Food for thought. Falling in love only hurts when you stop falling! Dave
