Every minute of everyday
It hurts so terribly
The aching in my bones
Am I supposed to pretend
That I don’t think of you everyday?
When the sun rises
And I open my eyes
I stare blankly at my phone
No messages
I force myself out of bed
I force myself through the day
But whenever I pause
You climb into my mind
When I get home I crawl into bed
But that’s when the thoughts get worse
All the things I’m dying to say
Everything
I force my eyes shut
And there you are
I reach out and say
“Do you know you’re on my mind every minute of everyday?”
The aching in my bones
Am I supposed to pretend
That I don’t think of you everyday?
When the sun rises
And I open my eyes
I stare blankly at my phone
No messages
I force myself out of bed
I force myself through the day
But whenever I pause
You climb into my mind
When I get home I crawl into bed
But that’s when the thoughts get worse
All the things I’m dying to say
Everything
I force my eyes shut
And there you are
I reach out and say
“Do you know you’re on my mind every minute of everyday?”
