Continuing the Broken Trend
How do I make up
What I torn down
How can I stop
What is obviously
A pattern
That runs in my genes
From my father
To my grandfather
They all cheated
Left that one woman
Who would do anything
Worshiped the ground
They walked on
Shown them everyday
How love is suppose to be
But yet
They left her behind
Heartbroken
Just like myself
Continuing the trend
Of breaking women's hearts
For no possible gain
Yes
I had to change my ways
But still
It runs in my veins
A family tradition
I'm ashamed to say
What I torn down
How can I stop
What is obviously
A pattern
That runs in my genes
From my father
To my grandfather
They all cheated
Left that one woman
Who would do anything
Worshiped the ground
They walked on
Shown them everyday
How love is suppose to be
But yet
They left her behind
Heartbroken
Just like myself
Continuing the trend
Of breaking women's hearts
For no possible gain
Yes
I had to change my ways
But still
It runs in my veins
A family tradition
I'm ashamed to say
