Turn the Page

Injurious expression, we are
miles away from one another

You are irresolute

You will never accept
the knowledge, we have
grown apart, we want
different things, separation

Ever-changing seasons
we also have changed, morphed
into something unrecognizable,
like winter, we grew cold
our hearts suffused in malaise

Emersed in alcohol
and unanswered
questions,
Why doubt?

We both know
you are better than
this facade you
hide behind

Come out from the
shadows, I dare you.

We have come to
the end of this chapter

turn the page.
