Two Bodies, One Passion

In the deafening silence, two hands reach out for each other.
Our eyes focused and steadfast on nothing but one another.
The quietness broken only by our quickening breaths and beating hearts,
As our hands are about to touch, now just an inch apart.
Then flesh against flesh, our fingers locked so tight.
We close our eyes, lost in the moment, this is our night.
Wrapped up, woven together, never more to divide,
Hands holding fast as our spirits soar, then collide.
Like a flicker in the darkness, our passion starts to burn,
Growing ever brighter as our bodies ache and yearn.
We need more of this human touch, with digits intertwined,
But if I could wrap you all in me, and stay for all the rest of time.
We fall as one, our bodies crying out for so much more,
We give in to our passion, like we never have before.
The flame that was once a spec now burns brighter than the sun.
A neverending love - you and I are forever one.
