Specks of bright peek the horizon
life scuttles precariously on about
but dare not I move
reddened eyes beg to shut
not needing sustenance to survive
air is overrated
and fire has burnt my cloth
feed me to your bosom
let our tomorrow disappear
may your curls inspect my manliness
and in your light I shall unfurl
life scuttles precariously on about

reddened eyes beg to shut
not needing sustenance to survive
