My canvas
Like a waterless fountain,
Locked within a canvas till engulfed in fire,
The me before you, the introverted I,
Imprisoned in the canvas before the painting,
This canvas that holds emotion,
Baby I can be your hideaway,
Whenever you're in pain,
I could be your great escape,
Won't let you fade away
For each line and stroke,
Us relishing in each others existence,
A waterless fountain,
Is what I am without thee,
Now the canvas remains blank for an eternity
Locked within a canvas till engulfed in fire,
The me before you, the introverted I,
Imprisoned in the canvas before the painting,
This canvas that holds emotion,
Baby I can be your hideaway,
Whenever you're in pain,
I could be your great escape,
Won't let you fade away
For each line and stroke,
Us relishing in each others existence,
A waterless fountain,
Is what I am without thee,
Now the canvas remains blank for an eternity
