The wolf
You treat me like a lap dog
Throwing me scraps of your love
When your mood suits it
Making sweet cooing noises
When you have the time
But you don’t see I’m not a pup
I’m not your friendly little dog
I am a wolf
Wild, fierce and uncontrolled
By your soft ways
I have a wolf's appetites
And an animal’s hunger
You flutter eyes at me so coyly
When I desire more bite
A kitten when I need a she-wolf bitch
When we mate I mount you
Bored and lacking enthusiasm
As you prostate yourself before me
Like a lamb to the slaughter
When I need one who matches me
You show me off to your friends
Like some prized pet
But I’m not your toy
This beast has teeth
And needs that you can’t meet
But I am the hunter
I bide my time
Waiting for my freedom
From your monotony
Waiting for the one.
Throwing me scraps of your love
When your mood suits it
Making sweet cooing noises
When you have the time
But you don’t see I’m not a pup
I’m not your friendly little dog
I am a wolf
Wild, fierce and uncontrolled
By your soft ways
I have a wolf's appetites
And an animal’s hunger
You flutter eyes at me so coyly
When I desire more bite
A kitten when I need a she-wolf bitch
When we mate I mount you
Bored and lacking enthusiasm
As you prostate yourself before me
Like a lamb to the slaughter
When I need one who matches me
You show me off to your friends
Like some prized pet
But I’m not your toy
This beast has teeth
And needs that you can’t meet
But I am the hunter
I bide my time
Waiting for my freedom
From your monotony
Waiting for the one.
