Is it habitual
this
sinkhole of sad?
Preferring the ritual
of depression - bad?
Oft times this
Feel
is deeper felt.
More so than
fleeting
happiness.
Seemingly, unloved
and wanting
to Feel. . .
a deep bleed
a lasting cut
Filling a need
Redundant rut!
Drawn from the past
Brought forth
darkened
sad
Practiced
& made to last
This ~
a new ritual
to have.

Meditation & self aware of yourself can keep depressive thoughts out of reach

Yes, one day at a time and baby steps within each day.
Though i am not an addict to drugs
masochism and the 5 times gig is sort of an addiction for me and so, i can and do identify with the
