I Lift You Up
The honor is mine; in knowing you
Sue.
The least I could do, not let you
feel blue.
Therefore I lift you up, with words
of good cheer.
Poetically expressing, my concepts
held dear.
With thoughts lifted high,and
focus on God.
Then plainly seen, these things
I believe.
So I lift you up, as He lifts us up.
Barely heard his small voice.in
this world,with these ears.
But I write what is seen, and in
you,you are free.
To be you through your loses,
around people their falseness.
Now we all have some dirt, and
our robes, not so white.
But in you I see Christ. In you
I see Light.
