Can't help notice that many of you good people in our community read but then 'walk away'. Good bad or indifferent it would be nice to hear a thanks for sharing or needs some work or even nice sentiment comments. I know you are not obliged to but hey we're all here for a reason. Thanks for reading my diatribe - I promise I won't vent again :)

You know, that's part of the challenge. I feel what you are saying. I've posted poems here that really mean something to me yet haven't gotten a like or a comment. But they still mean something to me, and my reason for writing it is still valid, and there is someone on this planet who would connect with it, even if for now I'm the only one I know about.
Anyway, you prompted me to respond. I'll check out some more of your poems.

Thank you for your response. As someone new to poetry it's more about guidance rather than validation. Yes the writes are more for me by way of a therapy of sorts but you still hope someone else sees the truth in it too.

Nice rant! I don’t believe I have any knowledge to give other than you know what you like and what you don’t, so if you like it others probably will also. Not everyone but someone will and it’s something they needed or enjoyed and that’s why I’m here. And if you’re not sure if you like it, someone else probably still does. Don’t know if that helps you but never be afraid to put it out there and you can always modify it! Welcome to DUP
