~Lone Moon~

Sea of tranquility oh so far away, a mere
speck of dust in the great milky way.

The Moon is so vast and so cool.

It is the Earth's very own crown jewel.

Couples holding hand's romantically gaze,
as you softly light up the end of their days.

They swim naked in the meadow beneath
your gentle white light.

While children tell ghost stories late into
the night.

Spinning, glowing, malevolent lone sphere
in the sky.

Our planet's true companion, that no one
can deny.

With all of your many shapes and shadows.

Sometimes you can even be seen at the
gallows of noon.

But for us all there can be only one ~
Lone Moon.~
