Irreplaceable Parts of My Life
I'm paralyzed
But yet I can move
These years I been fighting
I struggled through
I've lost an arm and a leg
But whoever said
I would get my cake
And eat my ice cream too
I had to endure hardships
To penetrate this hard head
My momma always said I had
But to be able to see, breathe
And speak when spoken
At least there's one thing
She can be happy for
But yet
I have lost teeth
The very thing
Coroners identify bodies with no names
A part of my soul taken
When pain
And deterioration signals the brain
This bad piece
Needs to be removed
Before it infects
The good parts of my soul
I desperately try to hold
But yet I can move
These years I been fighting
I struggled through
I've lost an arm and a leg
But whoever said
I would get my cake
And eat my ice cream too
I had to endure hardships
To penetrate this hard head
My momma always said I had
But to be able to see, breathe
And speak when spoken
At least there's one thing
She can be happy for
But yet
I have lost teeth
The very thing
Coroners identify bodies with no names
A part of my soul taken
When pain
And deterioration signals the brain
This bad piece
Needs to be removed
Before it infects
The good parts of my soul
I desperately try to hold
