Dimery
"If you wont let me in, I'll burn the place down and have you running out."
You can recall the memories.
I do recall the flowers.
I carry just a few.
The sky may haunt the dimery
and shower the blue with blue.
Would I ever thank you?
Give my fingers to sew new seams?
To be frank with you
I will never be the singer
at the piano in your dreams.
I would wear the yellow dress
drenched in flames now.
I had a picture of us framed on a mantle
which never existed.
Where the petals fell like rain.
And something crushed my existence.
I'll never be the same.
We pour our poison
and toast to simplicity.
We swallow it well.
Somewhere far away you sit with me
where we wallow in sweet hell.
I kiss your working hands
and give you my best.
You can recall the memories.
I do recall the flowers.
I carry just a few.
The sky may haunt the dimery
and shower the blue with blue.
Would I ever thank you?
Give my fingers to sew new seams?
To be frank with you
I will never be the singer
at the piano in your dreams.
I would wear the yellow dress
drenched in flames now.
I had a picture of us framed on a mantle
which never existed.
Where the petals fell like rain.
And something crushed my existence.
I'll never be the same.
We pour our poison
and toast to simplicity.
We swallow it well.
Somewhere far away you sit with me
where we wallow in sweet hell.
I kiss your working hands
and give you my best.
