With Shiny Hazel Eyes
"With Shiny Hazel Eyes" by Gal E. Cohen
Finding yourself on the road to happiness
Always surrounded by all
Always sensing loneliness within yourself
The unsatisfactory is raging
You long and reach out
Not knowing what you’re hoping to achieve
Looking down with regrets
Long dark hours you are conscious
Drinking the drink of relaxation
Those dreams and desires never go away
Until you are truly exposed
The old you running in the fields
Smiling with no reason
Cries water in the present
With shiny Hazel eyes
“Don’t say I’m beautiful, I hate liars.”
Finding yourself on the road to happiness
Always surrounded by all
Always sensing loneliness within yourself
The unsatisfactory is raging
You long and reach out
Not knowing what you’re hoping to achieve
Looking down with regrets
Long dark hours you are conscious
Drinking the drink of relaxation
Those dreams and desires never go away
Until you are truly exposed
The old you running in the fields
Smiling with no reason
Cries water in the present
With shiny Hazel eyes
“Don’t say I’m beautiful, I hate liars.”
