THE LENGTH OF THE TRIBULATION

Let me say what i've said for several years:
"5 months" (Revelation 9.5,10) as the length of the TRIB.
Fundies hold onto "3.5 years"(Daniel 7.25) or even 7 years -- even though Christ  
 clearly said He will "shorten" the TRIB(Matthew 24.22).    
Apparently, the Bible in the form of Dan.7.25 carries more weight with them than the words of Christ's own mouth !!! Putting the Bible above Christ, WOW !!
Aren't the Fundies committing that same offense as the Jews of Christ's time ??!!  
   
 
 PS: i need to clarify something.    
The Second Coming will NOT be followed 1000 years later by a "final rebellion."
That would take away from Christ's glory.    
The rising of the Dragon out of the abyss at end of Millennium (Revelation 20.2-3, 7) is nothing more than Beast rising from abyss at end of Church Age(17.8-11).
 
Why are Beast and Dragon one??    
Both have "7 heads, 10 horns").  
The Beast is the (return of) Roman empire(Dan.7.7-8).  
   
So end of Millennium = end of Church Age.    
So Second Coming = GWTJ, the Great White Throne Judgment(Rev.20.11-13).
So Gog and Magog (Rev.20.8-9) = Gog,Magog at end of Church Age(Ez.38-39).  
   
The start of Millennium is marked by "First Resurrection" (Rev.20.4-6),    
while the start of the CHURCH AGE is marked by Christ's Resurrection.  
This pins down the start of the Church Age as the time of "First Resurrection !!
For our resurrection is in Christ's own.
 So the start of the Millennium coincides with that of Church Age.  
SO C.A. AND M. ARE ONE AND THE SAME.  
So Second Coming (GWT) will be followed by ENDLESS Golden Age.  
Which is much better than a mere thousand years, wouldnt you agree?  
The destruction of heaven and earth at end of Millennium(2 Peter 3.11-13; Rev.21.1)    
is nothing more than the "sudden destruction" at end of Church Age (1st Thessalonians 5.2-3).    
Only the first heaven(the atmosphere) will be destroyed(half the ozone layer in Northern Hemisphere).  
Only the surface of the Earth will be "burned up"(2 Peter 3.11).    
Namely our US big cities.    
So 2 Peter 3.11-13 = 1 Thess. 4.16-5.3, compare 5.2 to 3.11.  
 "Day of the Lord" unites both passages,this is no mere coincidence.)
