acid rain
Clouds of gray hang above
us, like faded chandeliers in
an old, mildew-infested
Victorian masterpiece
Acid rain drenches us in
a blanket of hazard and
hostility, the infants scream
upon it's return, it's visitation
Melting
Burning
Skin shrivels,
Bones evaporate,
Brains dechay,
But our eyes remain
Seeing the mess in occurrence
us, like faded chandeliers in
an old, mildew-infested
Victorian masterpiece
Acid rain drenches us in
a blanket of hazard and
hostility, the infants scream
upon it's return, it's visitation
Melting
Burning
Skin shrivels,
Bones evaporate,
Brains dechay,
But our eyes remain
Seeing the mess in occurrence
