The End of the Ice Age?

Could you be the inferred light that melts the Dome of cold encasing my heart?
The icy smooth veneer concealing warm feelings afraid to spring forth
Into my wintery thoughts creep blooming shards of rose tinted arrows
Piecing the veil of darkness that has long hidden my expression
You see me and through me and still I am afraid to let you see my scars
My limitations hold me in idle confinement behind bars of dead flesh

Yet still I feel the warmth of your gaze penetrating my frozen armor
How can I blind myself to the glowing orbs of greenish blue hue
Shattering the windows insulating my lonely lost soul
What is this energy you radiate all over and under me?
Filling me with desire that has not touched me in ages layered with frost
I would welcome the invasion if I knew my flower could once again bloom
