I am fine, I am a good person?
Are they commandments, or are they suggestions
as I look at my life and all my reflections
Yes, I have lied, and yes I have stolen
Ok, maybe one or two of His laws have been broken
but I give to charities and I go to church
I volunteer time and the bible I search
but still, I have lusted(coveted), and even acted on it
So, then I'm a sinner, I have to admit
But I think overall I've done more good than bad?
yet, I guess there are a few more sins we could add
Taken His name in vain, during anger
Ok, now the feeling, my soul is in danger
The sabbath be Holy, so God we could honor
and do it as well, for your mother and father
Here, 'shall not murder', ha! that one I've kept
but for all of the others, Your wrath, I accept
i do know the difference of right and wrong
Still need your 'amazing grace', so goes the song
Yes Lord Jesus, I ask for forgiveness
I can not do it myself, as you are my witness
no others before You, and thankful my Father,
born again, toward heaven, by spirit and water (John 3:1-10)
"just one sin we're guilty of breaking them all" (James 2:10)
from the Garden of Eden, to all mans downfall ( original sin genesis 3 )

I thank God for freeing me from a life of sin. That being said I still struggle with it through my flesh, the world, and the enemy. Lot's of stumbling blocks, That is why I keep

Spiritual bearing write.
Makes me think of the man who's credited with inventing 10 pin bowling. He was so nuts about it, he was the first person documented to have an indoor bowling alley. 🎳
While bowling he'd compare the 10 pins to the 10 commandments. He explain even with the best intentions, we seldom are able to knock down all the pins, and we even throw a few gutter balls. Just keep trying to improve your game. That's all God expects from you.
His name was Martin Luther.
I believe my mother had a good perspective on the Commandment. She said don't fret over the 10 but concentrate on the 11th.
"Do on to others as you would have them do on to you. Follow this one rule, that's all you need do.

As we all should teach, that is probably why it is mentioned more than once in the bible.
"Do to others whatever you would like them to do to you. This is the essence of all that is taught in the law and the prophets."

The Lord always humbles me just when i need to be, for that I continue to worship in His name.The Holy Spirit can and does use just the right words so I may get the most out of these writes as I read them and re-read them. (which sometimes takes a few times for me to grasp)

Dear Tig,
We want ourselves to be completely clean, but its impossible to reach this stage. Only Christ is completely clean. I think we shouldn't let sin torment us and prevent us from enjoying life with Christ and depending on Him.

Very true JZ 'we should not let sin torment us', but guide us in the path of righteousness
