The saddest people wear the brightest smiles
The brightest people tend to say the dumbest things
A being can build a fortune for themselves
and never feel fulfilled
A homeless being can have joy in their hearts
even sleeping in a cardboard box
When life gives you roses
Don't pick it
because thorns do prick

I like how this poem presents examples and follows it with the rule. Pretty cool. There's something to letting nature take its course, allowing all of its beauty and ugliness to show however it will. Something zen about that.
