You call me lies
And butterflies
Fall from my eyes
Blue morpho skies
No clouds in sight
Radiant rays
Sun on my face
Finding a place
Dreams to chase
Hold on tight
Discovering life
Blue wings take flight

Author's Note
In retrospect. I wrote this almost five months ago. It was THE day before I walked out on a long and difficult, abusive situation. I Read this now and know how hard these months have been. Yet, it's still inspiring me because even through the rain, occasionally the clouds part and everything is beautiful and will be better than it was before.
