Love
1.
Love isn’t a thing
That you can pick up on the street
And throw away when you don’t need it
Love is neither a fun nor a game
It enobbles us
But it also
Demands
2.
Love and Suffering -
Inseparable sisters.
Hand in hand they go,
Living in the same home:
Human heart.
Is there anybody who wants Love?
She has a pretty face,
And laborer’s hands.
Poor, without a dowry,
She’s got only a sister,
Ugly old maid.
Who marries Love,
He’ll take the sister too.
’Cause without her,
She’s not going to come
Love isn’t a thing
That you can pick up on the street
And throw away when you don’t need it
Love is neither a fun nor a game
It enobbles us
But it also
Demands
