painted dire red in poetry
i bled ink in posthumous prophecies
D.O.A...R.I.P?....hopefully
remembered..in a chalk outline of my soul
slumped..lifeless..listless
i dumped my all against the odds
using this quill-rod
parting seas of a smothering reality
sending one last request to god
before my stained hour-glass finally expired

Are you familiar with artwork of Banksy? If he wrote, this is how he'd write. Succinctly captures the nuance of writing/art.
