Once I was told that there's someone out there compatible with me
I even heard that she reliahed all the things that I liked
So I searched for her in all the places the eyes could see
I searched in the heat, I searched in the cold, I searched in the day,I even searched for her at night
On my quest, I met many who I wanted to be her,to be for me
But,soon I would learn none were quite right
Most made me happy at the moment but weary at the next
I thought for all my searching, it was all in vain
Some made butterflies in my stomach, others light in the head
But,none could fill this void with the unobtainable I was looking to obtain
I felt exposed, as if everyone knew I was searching for the perfect her
It seemed they could read my delima and they were reading it aloud
So, ifound flaws, imperfections, blemishes, and blurs
I couldn't stand to know that I was figured out
On my search I learned one very vital thing
She can only be found if it's what destiny allows
While I thought my mind was ruler I learned my heart is King
On my journey I found one who stood out
Only for her would my search end and my life would change
