PRETTY GIRL
I saw a pretty girl yesterday
and I couldn't find the courage for anything to say
so in the end fantasy flew away
(she probably has a boyfriend anyway)
waiting and wishing for something real
is decidedly a dead-end deal
with her's and my own life lost in a whirl
death forever flew in a swirl
....passed up perfect pearl....
....my pretty girl....
