On a hot summer night
At a canteen in Abilene
I met a girl with blue eyes
With a touch of green
Taking me by the hand
She danced with me
Later, we made love
In an old rusty Chevy
That night I fell in love
With woman named Darleen
An exotic eyed beauty
With eyes of aquamarine
