faery rings like wedding bands.
drink the wine from the chalice, my love,
dance your heart away in the grass.
step over forgotten bones, ambrosia through the eyes of the dead,
draw your laughter to the stars like such shining lights.
open your eyes to the flowers, my love,
tulips and roses and oak and ash,
toss salt like faery dust over your shoulder, iron in your eyes,
draw the blade from your heart like a lost, lost rose.
dance your heart away in the grass.
step over forgotten bones, ambrosia through the eyes of the dead,
draw your laughter to the stars like such shining lights.
open your eyes to the flowers, my love,
tulips and roses and oak and ash,
toss salt like faery dust over your shoulder, iron in your eyes,
draw the blade from your heart like a lost, lost rose.
