i say to them  
if i mention...  
and before we even get there  
get this  

the mere thought  
of her  
takes me places  
well not those under the foothills of scenic  
ice capped mountains  
but places  
like ...  
i cannot mention  
or put across in words  
 
let us just say  
how would you feel  
burning  
twisting and turning  
on a bed of embers  
in a deep dark space  
and then  
being removed  
to a place amongst the comforting bed  
of flowers  
of aromas  
of sunshine
enchanting the soul  
where you feel removed  
from all things pain?  
 
so if the mere thought of that person  
takes me there  
imagine  
where would her influence  
on my ink  
would take me?  
 
and you ask me why do i write  
and what brought me here?
