I Don’t Want To Sleep
I had a dream, nearly forgotten within my skull
About me and you,
Mostly you.
I wish I forgot,
How you made me,
For I, not you, must lay
Trapped in slumber,
Watching you,
Fall
don’t.
For I pled,
Mercy, within my skull,
You will never be forgotten.
So don’t cry,
My tears are for once my own,
And do not come back,
For I, not you, had a dream.
About me and you,
Mostly you.
I wish I forgot,
How you made me,
For I, not you, must lay
Trapped in slumber,
Watching you,
Fall
don’t.
For I pled,
Mercy, within my skull,
You will never be forgotten.
So don’t cry,
My tears are for once my own,
And do not come back,
For I, not you, had a dream.
