Deferral

the heart punches its way through the chest,  
with every step he takes closer    
he effortlessly stands out from all the rest,    
he’s a: love-lucky  
four-leaf clover    
   
his numerous appearances in my déjà vu,    
his company is right to admire    
the universe shows the present is true,    
these butterflies    
are yet to expire    
   
talking all day is not a must,    
for the spark to stay everlasting    
we like our space    
there's more than trust    
our bond will continue    
expanding    
   
Why did he enter my odyssey?    
when I’m climbing out of a hole    
inconveniently entering    
flawlessly    
and investing his heart and soul    
   
Scary    
to feel incomplete,    
inner struggles are on time    
yet he’s there to support,    
in a heartbeat,    
like,    
giving up is a crime    
   
as much as I desire him to love me,    
I don’t want it in the same moment    
my mind over thinks    
constantly,    
silence    
accepted bestowment    
   
He’s astounding  
in so many ways    
he has no faults I hate    
bewildering,    
I’ll be thinking for days...
